New wipers not wiping whole area on passenger side

Hi,

I have had the problem since buying the car 2nd hand and have not managed to figure it out yet!
I have had new MB wipers fitted but it's still the same, I have tried moving the arm and I do get it to "click" where the wiper is attached but then I just get it missing a different area!
Sorry if I'm not explaining it very well, I am a bit clueless
I did manage to fix my handbrake staying on with advice from you guys so I am hoping you can do the same again!

You need to buy the original MB ones as they are slightly curved.
I've tried many after market wipers, none work well.
The original MB ones are Bosch.

you need to free up the small mechanism at the end of the the arm which the blade attaches. It gets tight and seizes up and has to freely turn in order to get a complete wipe from the blades. Get some PB Blaster, spray that end cylinder shape part that is riveted at the end of the arm (when the blade is off) and use a wrench to grip that offset cylinder and move up and down until it easily pivots. It will take some time and seem overly stiff (that is the problem) I have this issue on the drivers side and once a year I have to do this minor maintenance. Wipe clean and spray some dry lube either a silicon spray, teflon in that area. Don't use oil or grease as it will eventually seep and make a smeary mess on the windscreen or deteriorate your blades

Do you mean the little bit that the blade connects to the arm with?
I think this is the bit that "clicks" when I move it.
Sorry but I am not to bright when it comes to car maintenance!

The blade needs to click when in the proper position, so it does not come off. Give a slight tug. Clean the moving parts as mentioned previously.

You may need to clean the glass to remove oils and silicones. Bon Ami kitchen cleaner works the best. Make and emulsion and apply with a sponge in circular motions. Rinse well with clear water.

Clean the wiper blade business end with isopropyl alcohol soaked in lint free paper.

Thanks for the help
I had a go at lubricating the connector but it's not really done anything, I can't figure out how to get the wiper off the arm, I tried to take some pictures but I could not get the angle right, I can see right under a portion of the blade, if I push down it obviously gets rid of the gap but as soon as I release it, it will pop back up again.
Can anyone give me some instructions on how to get the thing apart? Please do it in Blonde though, as I said I'm not too good at this!!
