Missfire??

Missfire??
Hey guys. So the past 2 weeks I've been throwing a missfire in the #2 cylinder. First time it happened the car was boggy and it had trouble accelerating in low rpms. I took it to my boys shop. Read the code. The CEL turned off itself. Car drove fine. Happened again a week later as I was accelerating but the car didn't really drive differently. Again I turned the car off and the CEL was gone. It came on again yesterday. I was on the hwy and went WOT and the CEL came back on. But I never noticed a difference in the driving. CEL never came off this time. I'm going to my boys shop again tuesday to get it read and try and figure this out. Anyone have any ideas what it can be? Obv its the miss fire but what could be causing it? Plugs? Injectors? Maybe?

Check your plugs to see if they are all ok. Just because the CEL goes away doesnt mean its cleared, the ECU saves the CEL. From there if thats not the problem, clean your maf and make sure its reading correctly.

Knew I can count on a good response from you bro lol. I figured something along those lines I needa check. I mean I am at 111k.. Its high. So I probly need to check sensors and plugs anyways. I kinda wanted to do all of that for the hell of it. You reccomend any plugs? Bosch? This is my first euro and I usually mess with Nissan and Honda sooo lol.

yea I know. It was my screw up. I was tight on money for a little but now I'm not. So I'm probly gonna run to the store and pick up some Bosch plus then and do it regardless.. But just oem?? dont go any steps colder?

Yaaa i know alll about chicagos weather lol. Figures my day off to get this issue with my car fixed n its gonna at the least rainn allllll day. I really didnt wanna wait till friday. I haaaaate snow driving lol
