are there any sensor on the front and rear bumper ?
Are there any SRS system sensors on the front and rear bumper?cause i changed the whole front and rear bumper into an aftermarket kit. but the SRS system lights up on my dash. so any comments on why is that so ? the service dealer told me, probably there are sensors that are not put on. If there are, will the sensors be able to be transfer from the original bumper to an aftermarket. any body that had changed the whole bumper do you guys have this problems ? thank u guys.

There might be SRS sensors in the front bumper, otherwise, how can the airbag pops out? But I dont think there is any sensor in the rear bumper though....if you got rear ended, no airbag will deploy.

The shock sensing unit is INSIDE the car.
It used to sit underneath the ashtray in most of the MB models but I think it moved to under the rear seat in some later models...

Was your dashcluster, center console panel or seat unplugged for any reason?
Your service dealer can connect stardiagnose to the car and read what caused the SRS faultcode to come on (up to the very exact disconnected connectors or faulty part).
greetingz,
