100k Miles for my 07 C230

First I'm pretty happy with my 07 to hit 100k miles with few issues. I am the original owner and got her in November 2006. Only issues I had where as follows:

40181 Miles replaced upper v belt upper guide pulley and the idler pulley due to a recall.

48600 miles replaced the guide pulley again due to loose bearings.

Front headlight and rear fog light where replaced around the same time as well.

All of that was under warranty. I had to change the thermostat last November. So all in all I can say she's given me my money's worth. The question is I'm due for a fuel filter change, plugs, tranny flush, and I'm going to tackle these myself for the first time. I also want to freshen her up with xenon and the AUX port now that the stereo is back to stock as I finally put the good one in my 05 E55 now that I don't track it all that much.

Before I do any of this I wanted to get anyone who is willing to share their experience with their C230 that has high mileage. I'm aware these engines have some possible issues with the balance shaft or some other stuff. I understand later issues where corrected or can anyone confirm if MB did anything to adjust the issues in the later 06-07 models?

Is she worth keeping in your opinion? I just use her for daily stuff and I do see the CLA replacing her after a year or so to see if they have any issues.

Can anyone confirm though is this, I searched and found these part numbers to upgrade to xenon:
Left is: A 203 820 39 59
Right is: A 203 820 40 59

I searched some part sites and they were not finding anything but I did find xenon headlight control unit from RMeuropean marked down to $314 for two. The part number is 203 820 88 85. Is this the new part number or just a part?

Sorry for the long thread.

THE C350
I would check on your fuel filter because on the 07's form my understanding the filter is built into the pump or level sending unit or something so it is not easy like the early w203's.
As for the part numbers from rmeuropean those are this http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-C-A-SL-Class-Hid-Ballast-Xenon-Headlight-ECU-Control-Unit-/160786483868?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item256f9f0a9c&vxp=mtr if you buy a new or most used headlights they would be screwed to the bottom already.
I would recommend used lights like I did it is much cheaper you can get the ballast's for cheap on ebay as well they are used on many different cars.
here is a left light for dirt cheap http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-07-MERCEDES-W203-C-CLASS-HID-XENON-HEADLIGHT-LEFT-LH-OEM-NICE-C32-C300-C280-/350750726024?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51aa5f5788&vxp=mtrneeds a ballast and bulb but I would buy a new set of Philips bulbs anyway because you want them to match and be new.
I bought my bix about a week apart for if I remember correctly under $400. I did have to buy new bulbs though but that was $75 from my guy on ebay that actually sells real Philips bulbs as many are fake.

100,000 miles if well cared for should not be a big deal. Definitely stay on top of maintenance and enjoy it for many miles to come!
