Is the control arm bent or is the bushing bad? If its just the bushing, why don't you just replace it instead. Doing the same thing on my 02 c240 in the coming weeks. A little bit of a pain compared to just swapping the old with the new, but it can be done.

my mechanic told me the rubber part is chewed up. I don't think its bent. Your right, I'm gonna consider to change the bushings first.

$352.50 from getmercedesparts.com. Not the "cheapest" but they are reliable and I buy from them all the time. Plus its OE stuff... an actual stealership. And good thing for now.. its tax free.

The bushings on the lower control arm can be replaced right? Its the Lower control arm that is kinda shaped like a triangle.
