speak is out

my rear pass speaker is now completely out except for random sounds when the bass is loud. ironically this happend as soon as i left from my service b. when i put my hand on the front pass seat the speaker worked sum what. but i cant replicate it again

when the key is in the EIS does your key have up and down play? the s500 is in another state

i need uppers and lowers control arms again but only on the drivers side each time. $800 every 30k miles
did all 4 at 55k now 4 at 88k

i dont even run over bumps or potholes. only thing i do is go over 100+ and i probally shouldnt have raced this VW going 100 in a blizzard

Do you have an upgraded (Harmon Kardon or Bose) stereo system?

If so, then you may only have wires from the amp in the right rear corner of the trunk to the speakers, and the head unit sends audio to the amp via fiber optic cable.

If not, then you should have a copper speaker wires from the head unit to each door speaker.

Why a service B would cause one speaker to start failing is a mystery to me. For lack of better knowledge I would first try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes, then reconnect, to see if it resets anything. If that doesn't help, then I would consider pulling the door panel to see if the speaker is blown.

You might want to check youtube to see if your car was entered in a stereo contest or stock car race during its "service"

Seriously, putting a car up on a lift takes all the weight off the joints and (temporarily) changes the suspension geometry, allow it to hit stop points. It's entirely possible that you have joints that have been getting loose, you need need a large geometry change to expose the play.

Fyi when you changed the control arms last time, did you load the suspension before tightening the bushing bolt? If you tightened that bolt with the suspension hanging, then you've been driving around for 30k miles with the rubber bushings twisted, and not surprising if it failed prematurely.
