Also, what shifter are you getting? The 500 dollar custom AMG one? Hehe

I like the Brown poplar wood trim better. I think the Burl Walnut trim in the 3-series looks better than the Laurel wood trim in the C. The Laurel wood does looks kinda plastic in comparison.
I agree with tifosiv122 that the aluminum trim ain't 100% all that good either, but at least I think it's better then the Laurel wood. I actually perfer the Black Birdseye Maple if they are available for the C32.

webhost, there is a reason the USA don't like Canadians and I think your inane coments are some.
young, the Performance list price is over $1500, it's only $1300 when you get the 15% discount applied. I think the parts from the dealer are over $2000
CitronC230K_03,, I suggest you check out the dealers price for the cinnamora wood. I have heard over $1,900
Brown Poplar the same over priced amount. That is why I got the C320 wood, there are over a 100,000 C Class sedans with the correct wood
tifosiv122, the wood is a straight exchange for the aluminum pieces so being made correctly by Mercedes it had to fit perfectly
I was at a dealer today to pick up my second air cleaner inlet for dual cold air for my Coupe. Caliber Motors has HUGE sales, E class under $50,000. A SLK55 for $49,000. A C240 6 speed for $24,500
C230K sedans for $27,000

Vadim,
There are more Ukrainians in Los Angeles than anywhere else in the world.
A couple of years ago a Ukrainian Mig 29 jet fighter visited Hawthorne airport. Ukrainians do not like to be called Russians, "Russians are pagans, Ukrainians have been christians for 2000 years!"

Interesting Sidebar
Some of you may remember my long (5 months) wait to get a C320 coupe with the six speed. The dealer kept telling me that no coupes of my configuration (c1, c5, c7, comand,cd, wood trim) where being scheduled for production. Turned out it was the wood trim that was causing the delay....you can't get it with a comand system!!! Soon as I heard that, I dropped the wood trim and the car got built w/in a month.

FYI Breastroker...if you are **** about little things then you WILL NOT like the arm wood rest cover. It looks good from a distance...but it looks CHEAP from close. Just trying to hook you up b4 you spent the 150+ for that thing

webhost,
Most people at these forums are here to learn or contribute. You make comments that are neither, unless you want some help. After a while your banter gets old. Sorry I apologize to all Canadians. I have a large group of friends that are officers in the Royal Canadian Marines, true gentlemen.
webhost, you must recognize that people will judge you by what you post, they don't know you any other way.
Out of your 22 posts you actually have some that are worthy of this forum. There are people in many of these forums who use their own judgemental ideas on everything. I usually ignore those people as they are not contributing to anything. You have an opportunity to actually learn and contribute to this forum. I have met some of the members of this and the C Coupe forum and they are great people. I am sure you are too.

Sounds to me like you kissed a curb with the car your parents baught for you.
my friend used this thing in conjunction with a "holley" decal and he swore it got him into the 12's
clap clap clap
The C7 package as an afterthought has always made me wonder
Skid the dwing (dweeb wing) lose the country pumpkin interior, maybe downscale some of bull***** in the back and it would not be to bad.

LorinserCClass
Thanks,
You are probably right. It's not like I haven't wasted my money on other MB parts before
I got ripped off on eBay a couple of times. Still have the chrome headlight rings that fit all C class (EXCEPT the Coupe). Global Autoshop is the biggest rip off, they don't return anything, even when they misrepresent the items.
I have an entire console they shipped with the laurel wood, a light brown color. I will put the arm wood rest cover on that one and keep my original one
Performance Auto has a great return policy, plus I can drive over to Van Nuys and look at the stuff before buying
They are checking with the maker of all MB after market steering wheels in Germany, to make a 3 spoke Coupe wheel with laurel wood inserts for me.
I am the only one who I have to please, my tastes run to wood trim in MB's. I respect others who like the aluminum in the Coupes and Sports sedans and C32. The only car I did not like was the G35 interior. The main reason I did not buy it.

You have wayyyyy to much time on your hands dorkstroker.
I'd suggest stop the "stroking" and find a friend.
Royal Canadian Marines? LOL uh yuh. Lay the crack pipe down son.
Huh?
I dont like you OR your wood. Get over it. Or don't, I could care either way.

You are posting on the MBWorls forum, so can we assume you own a Mercedes? There are only two MBs with aluminum trim that I know of, the C Class Coupe and the C32. So by process of elimination you probably own a MB with wood trim.

So what is cheap plastic about STOCK MERCEDES WOOD TRIM? A
Exactly the same wood as in a $45,000 C 320! These are not the glue on cheap stuff.

Now what's this about BiXenon Coupe lights for 1300 minus 15%????

For 2003, the C230k, C320 sport sedan both come with textured aluminum which looks like little square things on the aluminum. (previous sport pkged C240/320 as well) that looks like this:

The C-coupe 230k/320 come with patterned aluminum which looks like this
