I have purchased new bearings locally and was sold the set 12 and 17 bearing and race for the front of my car. 2003 c240 base rear wheel drive. these bearings and the seal are too small. I have the mb number off the seal 0239973147 but the bearings are ntn and i can not reference the numbers
inner ETA 32007 XST 1 AND outer is A-ET-CR-0492STPX1 these are the ntn numbers on the bearings. all the parts places AZONE ADVANCE AND OREILLY list the set 12 and 17 for the car. mine are not bad but i put my finger in the middle and turn the outside and the rollers do not turn. they are a little loose and since i have it apart i would like to get the new ones and finish the job. really do not want to order and wait a week. anybody else had the issue with the bearings and seal size. thanks

IMO just buy from MB, the bearing kit is complete with cap, locking clamp and grease and is under $60. Sometimes it just does not pay to go third party, as OEM will fit and sometimes the extra cost is not worth the frustration and wasted time

i just started to wonder if something weird had been done to the car before we got it. When the bearings were the wrong size. i guess i will just order. has anyone used the beck arnley kit 051-4216. i assume this is oe equal?

I know that this is an old thread but having just tried to install the wrong bearings myself thought I'd post some part #'s
Was able to find an inner bearing to fit but not the outer so went with a whole kit...
I used Vaico Part # V30-7406, perfect fit
Febi / Bilstein 27300 should also work
and the factory MB # is 203-330-00-51
