My 03 c230 coupe started a few days ago after changing the fuel filter and disconnecting and reconnecting the fuel sender unit. Today the car would not start. I unplugged and re plugged the sender unit. The car started after doing this. Do you think the sending unit needs to be changed or could it be something else? Again, Thank you for your help.

To all members on the forum that made suggestion in regard to my wife c230 crank but not start the problem was the connection from the rear sam to driver rear seat sending unit.

W203 C320 Engine does not start
After the car stalled all of sudden, I changed Fuel filter, Fuel Pump, CPS, but the car still doesn't start, only cranking.
The spark plugs are new and sparks OK.
Battery is recharged, 13.2V.
No error code with ODB.
Fuel Pressure seems to be OK.
The gas meter is 1/4.
I'm wondering what the problem is...

MBWorld Fanatic!
Make sure the hose(s) don't pop off the fuel pump after it's reinstalled.
Mine did. Had to get some oil resistant tie wraps and the tool for cinching them down good.
Got real lucky! It ran for a whole then It popped after a long drive, close to my house.
I was able to walk home.
Now I keep the fuel filter tool and some spare tie wraps with me!!!
Well, if you have pressure, probably not it.
Faulty CPS? Any codes?

The issue seems to be bad fuel, but not sure. The engine started running now after the fuel line was drained, but the car still has another issue. I'll open up another thread. Thanks!

Not sure if this is true but the Sam does not appear to have burned out there are no signs or smells of burning just white corrosion from what seems to be water intrusion.
