ESP issue:

My brakes are fairly spongy often I haven't had time or resources to get them looked at or replaced. Any time they are used for a while, say going down a long hill, the ESP malfunction light will come on.

Besides suggestions on that, there is a separate issue I noticed today; When I turn the ignition on the ESP module in the engine bay makes a buzzing noise. When I turn the ignition off it 'clicks' then stops. Any ideas?




Thanks for your time. I've looked around and haven't found anything.

I think that noise comes from the throttle body.
