Average Battery life?
Hello, What is everyones average battery life on your car?
My first battery when i got my car lasted 7 years.
Mercedes came out and changed my battery.
That battery barley lasted 4 years.

They probably should last 6-7 years, so 4 years is fairly short, but still beyond where you'd have any ability to complain and have it go anywhere.

Mine is now 5 & a half years. On this forum I have seen people regarly get 8 years ,some longer.

mine did about 6 years and then went out without warning. luckily friend was at the house so we got a new one.

My old C240 battery is now at 10 years & going strong. 8 years is probably average in mild climates.

it all depends on you

If u have a big engine and lots of electrical options then your battery will go out sooner
