Question Coat Hook

OK, this is a small issue, but it has to be addressed. I already searched the forum.

I've had just a few occasions when I needed to hang a jacket in the back. I usually have my dry cleaning delivered to the house, but occasionally I need to pick up a jacket that is on a hanger. This leads me to my question.

How in the world are you supposed to hang a hanger on the hook unless you have a hanger with a swivel head? The cleaner doesn't usually furnish these. Am I seriously supposed to keep a hanger in the trunk?

I've also noticed that this design is in place on the new S class. WTF? This seems really stupid. The end of a hanger can seriously damage window tinting.

I hope there isn't a simple solution to this problem (actually I do).

Lol, I've wondered that myself. I bent the hanger from the cleaners, after the first turn...it fell...lol, I take another car when I need to pick up stuff from the cleaners.

Doesn't this seem like the smallest detail to be concerned with? Geez, I must be really disturbed.

Performance Products has a "Coat Valet" that "installs in seconds on the head rest posts of any MB vehicle"

Part number 99-901, $24.95

So far everything I have bought from them for my three MBs were first rate

Perfect! Thanks! I'll get one and place it on the passenger side. Not a bad price either.

I think Mercedes sells one too. It comes with a warning to remove when not in use. I guess it is a slight risk to the person sitting in the rear facing it.
