OK so i bout the Koni yellows for my wife's car and guess what... The end links don't fit!!! the stock ones are too tall and its the 12MM so it the hole is too small on the strut... what can I do? The car has been sitting for a while now and thats the last thing i need to put.

I have not heard of an issue with the end links being to tall if I am not mistaken the 10mm ones are the same length. Hopefully it all works out for you I am waiting for a rear set of Koni shocks for my car sadly there is a two month wait so I have another month to go.

Oh I know you are talking about the front. A picture would help but are you sure the end links are not just siting strange because the car is not on the ground?

I went through the same process when I upgraded the end links from my 2003 to a 2005.
1-Get yourself a good drill bit and mount everything.
2-start enlarging the mounting hole.
3-mount end links and you are done. "you will have to push up the lower arm with the help of a jack to get the end link in position". You want to stay with the end links you have (sport). If you switch to the non-sport ones which are 10mm will be a downgrade.

Good thing I read this post, I was about to order some Koni Yellows for my '01. I thought Tire Rack was pretty good with ensuring that things fit without modification because I was going to get the ones suggested by them. On their site they suggest: 8741-1412SPORT for the front and 26-1679SPORT for the back. Are these the ones that you ordered? I'm curious if anyone has done this upgrade and it was just a quick bolt on and done, no modifications required.

Out Of Control!!
I had them done on my 2002, and didn't pay for anything extra when they were installed. IIRC, early W203s did not have this problem at all (and I did order them from Tirerack, btw, as they were the best prices).
