It's all ok now almost, except for the fuel sensor/indicator. I picked up a 209 module at a wreck yard for a reasonable price.

Guess it has to be reprogrammed though, but I'll deal with that later. At least I have my windscreen wipers and signal indicators for now ++

But AFAIK you might need an updated fuel (sensor?) to have indication with new SAM. Or maybe it's for 209 dash... I am confused.

Well I thought it only needed to be reprogrammed? A lot of dealers are selling the 209 545 0101 version for w203, so it can't require that much extra work to get the fuel gauge functioning correctly?

I read that some people say reprogramming is all that's needed, because on the facelifted 203s the fuel sensor software/operation was updated. But I can't say for sure..
