Transmission shifting but not moving
Got in my car this morning, fired it up. Moved shifter into reverse and nothing. Won't move in any gear. Drove fine yesterday, now it acts as though I'm not moving the shifter. Selector on the dash shows I'm switching from park through the gears, but I get no movement. I can hear what sounds like the linkage moving under the car when I shift. I have tried switching to winter mode and still nothing, not even the slightest movement from the car. 2003 C320 4Matic

First thing to check is fluid level.
Check the electrohydraulic bush where the TCU plugs into the transmission on the front RHS diagonal of the tranny for leaks.

No visible leaks anywhere, can't check level as I don't have the dip stick. It shifted just fine with no issues when I parked it, no previous sign of a pending problem, the shifter feels a bit funny, a little hardto go past neutral into drive....thinking shift cable, but since I am no expert at Mercedes I thought someone else may have had this same issue
