No Dead Pedal/Foot Rest?

I have an 07 C230, and perhaps the most annoying part of the ride is that there seems to be no foot rest for the driver's left foot.

I'm a little shorter, and I have to cross my left leg to drive comfortably.

Anyone else run into this problem? Is there a foot rest (and mount to bring the rest closer to your foot) that you can buy and install? Any help/suggestions would be great!

Part number A 2039760360 is a drivers left foot footrest for left hand drive cars, strange that your car is not equipped with one?

Can you attach a picture from your C230 legroom?

Attached is a photo of the legroom. There does seem to be a footrest, but it's very deep inside, and being shorter, my body would basically have to be against my steering wheel to be able to use it.

Yeah, it's a pretty sh*tty footrest, honestly. There are some options for foot rest pedals. And then possibly you could put a backing plate behind that to push the dead pedal out further. Take a look at my gallery on here for an example - I have a set of pedals from Ultimate Pedals - extending that dead pedal further into the cabin with metal plate(s) or wood shouldn't be too difficult.

Mine is the same as yours on the picture.
If you adjust your seat so that you can press the brake fully without overextending your foot, you should be able to reach the footrest no problem. Did you try to adjust the steering wheel? AFAIK it's telescoping?

And you may want to vacuum the carpet - you are breathing all that
