sports package leather cleaning

hi,

i believe they are the sports package seats (the ones with lots of small piholes in the leather).

i tried to clean the seats with one of those leather cleaners, but now i have partial remainders(white) of the leather cleaners inside the pinholes.

Anyone have any ideas how to ged rid of them?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Thanks.

You need a pin and a lot of patience.

Uh, wouldn't a light misting of H20 and a brush work a little easier? Then apply some of your favorite dressing/protectant.

For future cleaning, try the Lexol spray cleaner. It works well for my seats, does not leave a residue. Just spray on an area that is not perforated, wet a brush, scrub away, then wipe off with a damp rag. Then use Vinylex protectant when dry.

I should have used a smilie on the first post. Use a soft bristle brush and scrub lightly or use a damp towel and scrub more firmly.

...and next time, don't use so much cream on the rag. Once you squirt a dot on the rag, first wipe an area that doesn't have the pin holes. Then wipe the perforated area with whatever residue is left on the rag. That way the holes wont fill up.

Try Zymol. It hasn't left a residue on mine and I apply it right to the perforated parts.

white and whiter
Zymol or EagleOne cleaner never left any whiteish residue inside the tiny holes on the perforated area on my car. I don't think they will leave any residude anyway.

The creamy Conditioner from Zymol and EagleOne will leave residue, so I never used'em. I'm guessing you used the conditioner because the leather conditioner usually comes in cream.
