Easy active TPMS retrofit

Utilizing good ol’ eBay, I got a set of sensors for $88, a used W209 (also W463 G-class) TPMS module for $70, and I bought a 209 wiring harness for $16.25. The harness was a bit long, but that’s good as its easier to shorten than lengthen!!
My part numbers are:
Sensors MB A0035400217 / Chrysler 56029400AC
Module A0035403945
Wiring harness A2094404508
The sensors fit easily in my stock 2007 six spoke wheels without any mods. I used double back emblem tape to fix the module to the quarter panel. I have attached a few pics from my install and a copy of the schematic to give you an idea of where the plug in the harness. There are three connections, the module, the Rear SAM and the CAN node under the driver’s side instrument panel. I also included step by step DAS instructions, nice thing about this is you don’t need Developer, it can easily be done by a dealer. Well easy is a relative term.
If something is confusing or you need a little more info, let me know!

I was surprised to see that they've moved away from individual receivers at each wheel. I've used similar aftermarket systems but there the receiver was centrally located to avoid distant signal problems.
And does this mean that every time you rotate your tires you need a SDS to reprogram things? My aftermarket systems had provisions for re-programming but I don't see how it would work here.

This is the location I used to connect the CAN wiring. You have to drop the plastic panel under the steering column. Sorry for the small pic, its out of the service manual.

This is really a useful mod.
I am finding more and more reasons to acquire a STAR unit...

I'll start a new thread on the sunroof issue, it looks like that easter egg is still elusive on the forum. I'll have to plug into the car and get some screen captures as the menus are different in the DAS simulation.

However, when I tried to turn on the tpms under body (the first part of programming you show) the only option was "without position related pressure values" I chose that and turn on tire warning.
I am still getting an error message of tyre pressure inoperative
any suggestions on how to make the 209 think it is a 2008 (which is when the parts are from?
