dropping my car
You guys are lucky you don't live in DC area. The lowest quote I got so far was $650
On this note, can someone recommend an installer in DC area?

I'm still waiting to install my Eibach's as well (have to wait until the wife is outta town...hahhahaha)...but I was quoted $150 at a pretty reputable shop...but I'm in Houston.
Changing a set of springs shouldnt take more than 3 hours@$80/hr, i.e. USD240. I think USD650 is a bit scary!! Either that shop is a complete rip off or they have no idea of how to do the job.

not just one shop - *every* more or less reputable shop in the area I called had quoted between $650 and $720, ~6hrs x $100-$110
Vadim, i gotta ask, is that including the springs or not? If not, you may wish to find a charitable and knowledgable fellow on MBworld, pay for roundtrip tickets (at most $250), buy springs yourself (under $250), give him a place to stay for the nite, buy dinner, then u guys can do it together. All for under $650 including springs! And I'd trust the work of a fellow MBworld member over some shop who wanna charge 6 hrs labor at $100 an hour!

I think around $200 is about right.
People in DC area, if theres no installer.
I suggest go to the dealer and try to speak with
one of the mechanic, maybe they want to do some outside job.
for extra money. I did this when I was in Austin,TX.
And they charge me cheap. Goodluck.
