2007 C230 Sport
To people that have had Conductor Plates replaced in 722.9 transmission
Have you experienced any problems with the transmission since having it replaced? How many miles have you put on the cars since?
Are the replacement conductor plates an updated part (vs the one that shipped in the vehicles) to possibly fix an initial design issue?
It looks like my 2007 C230 Sport is going to need the CP replaced. If I can expect more problems down the road due to bad design or MBUSA not servicing their cars correctly (mine failed about 2-3k after having the transmission serviced and finally starting to use the 'sport' mode again while on a long trip.. is that a possible reason for failure?) I'll prob just dump the car and get a BMW. I've already had the fuel pump fail at 41k, and now this at 46k is just pathetic.

I had mine replace at around 65k miles and now I am close to 90k with no issues. My issue started also after a transmission svc (coincidence?). I think the part is updated but it seems issue does not come again.

i didnt have to replace mine till 200k miles, i did it my self, the conductor plate is a new design and especially the plug with new better washers, you shouldn't have problem with yours, but remember you have a benz! keep a full wallet!

Old quality issues with Siemens 722.9 conductor plates are a thing of the past & resolved.
