I think that you are going to be a bit more specific about the parking brake about what you want to remove

It's pretty straightforward
1-Remove the retaining springs on the middle of each pad, they're basically holding the pad to the splash shield.
2-Remove top spring (the one that pulls both pads together)
3-Things will start coming off easily, makse sure you don't lose any parts.
also use the other side as a reference if you get confused,don't disassemble both at sides once hehe
I'm going to replace the splash shield today, if i manage to get the damn hub off, going parts shopping now i'll put a writeup with pics if i managed to get it done today !

the hardest task of the whole job is re-attaching the springs for the shoes in the parking brake, the area is small, the spring tension is super high. There is an MB tool for the job and I found this hooked awl the trick to pull the spring on. I needed an extra person for the job, as I pulled with both hands over the attachment the other person pushed it in with a screwdriver and it snapped in
