2007 c230 head unit question.
Hey guys
I have a 2007 c230 and the audio system is a basic that does not have a display. I am not sure if it is fibre cables or not. I would like to add some navigation, iPod and bluetooth to the vehicles. And I want the steering controls and the small display on the instrument cluster to work with the unit.
After reviewing the forum, my options are
1) After market hu.
Down side: Loose the oem look. I would prefer to keep the oem look.
2) Dynavin makes a oem look a like unit.
Does anyone have any reviews on the unit, or do you guys recommend it.
3) Purchase a COMMAND unit from ebay.
Will this be an straight swap or the wiring has to be changed to for the COMMAND unit to work.
Any assistance on this will be appreciated.

You may want to search a little more, this subject has been gone over to death. Maybe too many times even. Anything you could possibly want to know has most likely been answered several times.

I just finished installing after market head unit to my 2007 C230, all indicated was Fiber optics but in my case the only use of the Fiber was to communicate with the multi cd changer not for amp, sois possible your car have no amp and the original stereo is the amp. my head unit was purchase from China, there 100's of versions from windows to android base my works perfect is just like factory. I made a video of the installation if you interested. search ebay and you will go nuts on choices.
