AM Radio FIXED!!!
I finally have AM radio reception.
First the dealer changed the antenna bar.
Then they changed it again.
Finally, they decided to try changing the rear window.
Got a new rear window and AM radio reception.
All under warranty.

My am radio worked fine for the first few months I had the car, purchased it used 1 year old. It just stopped and if I recall
there wasn't even any static on am.
They replaced what ever is located under the headliner, some
part of the antena. I was not very happy about anyone
taking the headerliner off. If they told me they also
needed to replace a windshield I would have lost the
remaining sanity I had left.

I have done some further research into this area and it seems there must have been some problem with the rear windows on these models.
Since the glass replacement, the AM radio works perfectly.
