Odd Noise
Hi all...my 02 230 Coupe has recently started having an unusual noise. from the dash/glove box area there is a sound that is like a blower motor (blower is off) that seems to rev with the engine. As I come to a stop I can hear the motor sound losing revs till when I am stopped it is stopped. Is there a motor under the dash that might do this? Thanks

Odd noise - is it the famed ticking insulation..
Check out this one - its quite common and an easy fix if you can get under the car on a hoist. Sounds quite deceptive where its coming from.
If so, its of zero technical significance, but great to have it fixed !
