Help! Broken Headlight Tab - New Member
Sorry if this is a repeat post, I really have searched all over this forum and the internet trying to find an answer. I've seen some threads on tabs, but nothing specifically to fixing a broken tab on a '05 C230K. I just failed a state inspection because I have a broken tab on my driver side headlight. Shop said the headlight couldn't be adjusted because the tab was broken, and that there were no repair kits. Quoted me around $500 for new headlight. I found this repair kit and wanted to know if anyone knew if this kit might fix my problem? Or if you have another solution possibly!

I guess it all really depends on which tab is broken. My car had the mounting tab/bracket broken that goes on the outside where the bumper mounts which I was able to just super glue back in place.
If it's the adjustment tab it looks like the repair kit that you are talking about would work. If you give me your VIN someone can verify the part number or you can make your own EPC account on https://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/home.jsp
