I'm curious about get a set. I've looked on the forums and google to see if other members had them and those that have did not post a dyno sheet of the performance upgrade.

OBX Racing SS Exhaust Manifold Headers Mercedes-Benz C230 C300 C350 E350 M272
US $374.99

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/200935866662?lpid=82In the description they mention "Also comes with a lifetime warranty from manufacturer defects. Dyno proven to increase horsepower. " and doesn't provide a dyno sheet to prove it lmao.

What are your thoughts and experience on it?

I ran OBX headers on my Lightning. The headers themselves were excellent quality for the price, however the hardware that came with them was junk (gaskets, bolts, nuts & clamps). Made 720 RWHP on C-16 but obviously had a lot of other mods. Not sure about the fit on your C but they fit well and were easy to install on my L.

I heard an OBX system on a Nissan Maxima and it sounded nice. It had no rasp and the owner said there's no drone, just a mellow increase in sound at highway speeds. To me it would seem out of place on a German car though but then again yours is nicely modded it would be a nice complement.

Yea but besides the sound, I'm looking more for "some" performance

I believe they are copies of the Kleemann headers. I have no experience with them but I've heard their quality is spotty. You may have to have someone make some adjustments for you - a GOOD muffler shop that is familiar with performance mods should be able to take care of it if there are problems with the way it fits. I have also heard that people who have put them on their Honda are generally pleased (I make no value judgements here).

If they are copies of the Kleemann headers then you have to worry about whether the ports line up with the tubes properly. I would think that they should be better than the stock manifold even if they are off a little but there's no way to know for sure.
