Electrical issues with lights, stero
Hi everyone! I just bought a new-to-me 2007 C230 at an auction a couple days ago. I'm trying to work through a few issues. When I got the vehicle, several lights were not working: the passenger low beam headlight, passenger high beam headlight, passenger rear turn signal, and driver side rear brake light. I replaced the low beam bulb and that one started working. The two in the back, however, were not corrected by replacing the bulbs. I checked all fuses in all 3 locations, no issues there. I have a multimeter but not much electrical or mercedes knowledge; Can anyone tell me how to go about testing the wires leading to those lights to make sure current is coming through? I'm guessing that is the next logical step.
Also...the HU does not come on at all. No lights, nothing. The mutifunction display just shows ---- under the Audio heading. Is there any way these issues are related, or should I treat them separately and start by replacing the HU? It is the audio20 HU I think, and i do not have the HK sound package. Is it as simple as just buying a third party double din HU and plugging it in?

OK, so I identified the wire that connects to the driver side brake lamp that isn't lighting up. Checked it with a light tester and there is no voltage on it. I want to trace the wire to the wiring harness, but I'm not sure where it is?
