Poor Economy & Power
I have a 2002 Mercedes C220 CDI Auto Coupe.
I recently had a re-occurring fault with one of the injectors, which has now been repaired.
Now the power on take off is limited (normal once speed is picked up) and I feel the fuel economy is poor. Sometimes with slight harsh acceleration, black smoke comes out the exhaust. I mostly do motorway driving, most times when I come off the motorway I notice a rich diesel smell.
Can anyone provide any suggestions on what might be causing these issues and any solutions if possible.
