lorinser style fenders
my car got keyed last week all down the passenger side... so im gonna repaint that whole side and i was thinkin whether or not i should do some custom lorinser style fenders. lorinser doesnt make them for the c-class but its gonna be similar to the one made for the s-class. what do you guys think?

It will work on SOME cars...ones w/more of an agressive kit. LIke Jerry's. Other than that it doesnt look right to me. It looks like it belongs more on a W211(NOT 210)or S Class. Wide body and fenders to me honestly just dont suite a 203(no flame intended )its more like an E46 thing to do. FYI you might ALREADY know but salvatorre motorsports makes that f1 style fender.

i think the lorinser-style salvatore ones look ok with the rest of the kit, but maybe a little too aggressive on its own. i think it could look good if you came up with a slightly less aggressive custom design that would match the rest of your car better.

do it!! i think it'll look ok because u have a blk car!! blk cars tend to look stock even tho ppl have kits on them..light color cars show alot more detail..make sure the whole fender is black tho..dont leave contrast

Hey CarlssonCRS,
if your going to do it anyways...
you mite as well go to the bodyshop i went to atleast they have done it before.... i was hoping you wouldent want to do it but if you are then mitus well help you out. i am having my whole car redone with all my flares changed next week. if you would like, i can you thier number and i could talk to them for you. Also if you want regular flares, not the lorinser style, its pretty cheap, not too expensive at all.

Carlsson.......I say go for it! Like the previous post said, black will not show a whole lot of detail so it will not be too overdone. Is your car BLACK or with metallic flakes? If it is straight black, the body shop should not have to blend into the front door (un-vandalized one) and save some money.
Wide203: I can't believe you are going to redo your fenders after spending all that money! Are you going to change the rear ones to match AMGrider's?

For Lorinser style fenders, my friend can do them. He custom makes them. It is not fiberglass like other fenders. It is metal. They custom make it. He has them for w220 S-Class and the w215 CL-Class but I talked to him and he said they can custom make it for the w203. He has it on his w220 S-class and they are the nicest fenders you can get. He gets soo many compliments for it. They work on Mercedes and Porsches. They do fender flaring and lorinser style fenders. If someone is a serious buyer, I can let him know. I'll try to get pics of his car.

I have yet to see a nice fender flair/widebody w203..No offense to others ,but they just stick out unevenly..It doesnt even flow with the body of the car. .I think if you are going to do a widebody, you have to have the fenders be one with the rear apron and sideskirts.that will be pleasing to the eye..but what would i kno

when mines is done (for the second time) i think more people will be pleased with the way it flows with the car... i know mines did not come out too well the first time.... but my car was the test car and now i know what did not come out right and i now know what to do to fix the problem (as far as i knew i was the first one to do it... and had no way of telling how it would come out).... ill give everyone that is thinking of getting fender flares some advice.... it wont flow unless you use the right kit....its not that easy to just buy fender flares and expect it to work... there are many different types and styles...
