You are right, it is a bit much. The two stars just don't look right.
I give it

Do you guys like the headlight rings? I'm not crazy about them -- seems to add chrome where it's not needed...

The headlight rings are not that bad. I wouldn't put them on, but if the car came with them, I would leave them on.

my 2 cents

emblem and star grill looks a little too much. i'd go with the flat emblem with the star grill (something i'm planning for my car).

as for the chrome rings, they're ok. they add some elegance to the car (like on CLK's), but I don't know if they're worth the $99 to buy em. IF they came with the car, I'd keep them on as well. Chrome accents seem to be coming back for a lot of car manufacturer's...

you can get the headlight rings for much cheaper now. They are coming down in price.. if you have the patience..wait a bit more and you should be able to get em for like 60 bucks..maybe even cheaper...

I wonder why they put such heavy looking wheels on that car. The Amg's make it look quicker in my opinion.

yikes...

Thats alot of bling bling there... Too much for me but more power to the owner. The two stars is really not very attractive. Please dont take it personal cause its just one fools opinion. i like the grill and perhaps the headlight rings may look different without the hood star. I hope you take this as constructive criticism and not a beat down...
