'01 C240 Radio/Amp/Speakers

I was having an issue with my radio after an accident and just decided to replace it. Didn't realize it had a fiber optic cable connector to the amp. As far as I know there isn't an adapter for said connector to install a standard deck.
What is the solution? I'd like to replace as little as possible. I would assume the amp will have to go for standard wired unit but will the current speaker wiring work with a different amp?

Thanks in advance for the help
Tiffany

THE C350
Do you have the optional Bose stereo? If not just need simple converter and you can install whatever HU you want with a dash kit.
Take a look around every audio question you would ever have has already been answered.

In that case, then - everything has to be yanked and replaced. Sorry.
