Question 2006 C230 Sport - Replacing Brakes (DIY)

I looked on this group for us W203 owners and didn't find a sticky on this...

I'd like to replace all four of my brake pads on my 2006 C230 Sport. Looking at my rotors, without mic'ing them, look good and won't replace them. I had them replaced during my last brake maintenance.

I purchased the following for the work:

- TEQ Correct Professional Semi-Metallic Pads (PMD779H)
- TEQ Correct Professional Semi-Metallic Pads (PMD1121H)
- PEX Brake Wear Sensors (BWS WK596)

Please assist with any pointers or write-up/video on this maintenance.

Thank you all.

Its easy as long as you have the proper tools and take it slow so you don't mess anything up!

Good blanket statement for all maintenance.

Very true lol Do you have a caliper spreader I just got one a few weeks ago for two brake jobs front of my c320 and front of Pontiac G8 GT. It makes pushing the caliper back in so easy and worry free and can be found cheap.

No, I don't have one. I usually use a c-clamp...but I've told myself many times I should buy the right tool for the job. I'll stop in to Advance Auto and Auto Zone tomorrow. Hmmm....wondering if Harbor Freight may have one as well. Guess I'll have to hit them up too. Where'd ya get yours?

Oh, see you're in Virginia as well.

This one looks good, but probably not necessary.
