Control arm question
Hi guys, I have a quick question and I have searched but have not found a real definitive answer. I have a 2007 C230 with the sport suspension. I want to replace the lower control arms but I have gotten conflicting stories as to which arms I need. I've been told there is a difference between the sport and non-sport arms. Can someone please shed some light and let me know if there is a difference. Also if someone has a link to where in an get them or even just part numbers, that would be helpful. I have part number 204 303 19 11 and 204 303 20 11 but have been told these May not work. Thanks in advance and sorry if I missed this somewhere in my search.

To my knowledge the upper and lower control arms are identical for all W203 and W204 models, sport or non-sport.
There is a difference in struts and sway bar end links between the sport and non-sport suspensions due to the 3/4" height difference.
I would suggest, in addition to EPC-net, check for part number and part differences on partsgeek.com, rockauto.com, rmeuropean.com, autohausaz.com, and parts.com -- to see if any of those sites pull up different parts for a sport vs non-sport suspension. I imagine you won't find a difference.
As a far as OEM part numbers, there may have been number changes due to part improvements, but that is not a compatibility issue, only an engineering improvement.

The only thing I will add is that if you change out the LOWER ALUMINUM ARMS...to add the w211 dust caps, that is the new dealer SOP. Also, as your searching will show, ensure when you remove the bolts, you check lobe location and use the correct bolts(s) when you reinstall. You may NOT need the camber adjuster arms (kit) if you have stock solid bolts and a good alignment.
Also - ENSURE you torque with vehicle load on the wheels!
