The BE6021 is an update version of the BE4410. There are no operational or specification differences.

That brings another question to my mind...
Can the North American version (10 CD Changer) playback CD-R's and CD-RW's?
Thanks,

The TV tuner has 2 Aux inputs, so the rear passenger can watch a DVD (using headphones) while the driver can be watching something different
If I handnt been selling my CLK55, Id have installed the S class stuff in the rear in the summer :-)

I'd be very suprised if it wasnt software selectable somehow - the reason I say this is I think the older becker radios were selectable, and that unit is made by Becker for MB
The rear screen is an option on the S class (and maybee the CL) in Europe. It is driven directly from the TV tuner that connects to COMAND (and so only does PAL/SECAM, not US NTSC standard)

This means you US guys will be able to finally get TV on your COMANDs (you may have to install European s/w on them, but you can but the s/w update disks from European dealers)
Where was that becker web site ??

Don't know what the spacing is but I listen to 88.1, 88.5, 93.1, 94.1, 94.7, 95.5, 97.1, 98.1, 98.7, 99.9, 100.7, 101.1, 101.5, 102.7, 102.9, 103.5, 103.7 104.3, 105.1, 105.9 but not all at the same time. Some are LA stations and some are San Diego stations and I live in between. I guess the only pattern is that the number to the right of the decimal point are all odd and yours are mixed.
Your FM spacing is different (I beleive). Here (Europe) stations are .9 apart, i.e 94.9, 95.8, 96.7 etc - I thought yours where 1.0 apart

There are different manufacturers of the Audio 10 CD unit. Some are made by
Becker and others by Alpine. You would need to know the exact one first.
Secondly, we are unable to sell our head unit outside of Australia due to
our contract requirements with Becker. Also these Audio 10 units are
officially Mercedes-Benz units, so the best place to locate one would be
your local Benz dealer.
I hope that helps!

I also heard back from a London dealer that removed one from a new car he would ship it for 400.00
Be aware that the audio-10 is in some way coded to the car, and therefore Id expect that a MB dealer has to code it using their star-diagnosis system

No reprogramming of the car's electronics was required.
The steering wheel controls and MFD all work fine. THe Radio has RDS, but I was surprised to see how few stations have RDS here.
THe MFD even displays the station name if it is RDS capable.
THe install took about 45 mins, the cabling is 100% plug and play.
FM step is .1MHz, so no problems there. The AM step is 9kHz, so some of my stations don't work, but the AM tuner is not too selective, and I can receive 820 when tuned to 819. Maybe someone in Europe with this unit in his Owners' Manual will be kind enough to let us know the menu access tricks, if any.
Nice feature is that you can set the bass, treble, fader and balance for each individual preset, as well as for the CD player.

I found the MBZ in dash single CD player in the UK for £285.68 or approx $412.81. This is the AM/FM/CD player that comes standard in some countries. It looks similar to the tape unit except it has a CD slot over the display.
To order the In dash CD player ask for Darren Meredith on: +44 (0) 116 2480 395 or email: W108051@mercedes-benz-parts.co.uk
