WTB: Roof Rack and Bike Mount for W203
Looking For a roof rack system and bike mount for my 2005 C230 SS. Unfortunately my W203 didnt come with the rear folding seat option and I'm tired of scratching my leather. It could be oem or another reputable aftermarket brand. If anyone has one they are willing to sell please let me know. Thank you.

I have been thinking about this for a while now...
See if this gives you a starting point.
50'' Thule square bars,
400XT feet,
Fit kit 2117.
Then some generic(?) bike attachments.
Total about $200 from ebay + wherever.
Alternatively, go to thule or yakima website, and they have a fit guide 'app' to help you spend more money on modern components

Why not just buy the OEM bike roof rack?
They come up used once in a while.
I got a rack for my coupey with 2 bike holders for $200 but
drove to Sac to get it. New woulda been close to a grand with tax and all.
BTW- I need one MB bike holder to replace a damaged one.
Check the classifieds and this forum, as well as Ebay.
I found mine on craigslist FS with a car, and got them to sell just the racks! Ca-ching!

W204 Thule/Yakima Combo
Hey Guys,
I just installed a custom setup this weekend, I bypassed the Yakima Universal Mighty mounts and bought a Thule Xadapt 1 kit along with a few M6 bolts and spacers from Home Depot. It fits even better than OEM. I'll post more pics of the connections if you're interested.
I have a few pics here:

OEM racks work better than the generic Thule rack for our car. When I was looking to buy new, the OEM rack was actually significantly cheaper than the Thule because it needed so many extra parts to make it fit. The OEM has aero style bars and IMO better built than the Thule.
While I have a rack I carry my bikes on a trailer hitch rack, less wind noise and easier to load and can go in parking garages
