Best solution for MP3 (with Command)
Hi,
I am about to buy a W203 C220 CDI facelift. But it has only this option for the audio side stuff:
527 Comand DVD APS with navigation
Two questions:
Is there a separate CD player available, in conjunction with Command? (where is the player physically located)
What would be the best option for MP3 playback, via USB or SD card, when I want to be able to control everything from the steering wheel buttons / from Command (ie. integrated fully to car systems) ?
(for BMW E39 Maintronic CP600 was a great solution, is there something similar for W203 facelift)

You car must have Comand NTG2. In order to be able to listen mp3 music from your audio you can:
1. Connect a cd changer from W211 (the device must have a label "mp3 play back". I have put one on my car and with 6 cd with mp3 music it covers my needs. You have control via steering wheel buttons or the head unit. The connections that must be done are optical fiber for the most ring and three wires 12V, Ground and wake up. I have place it in the dashboard glove box with a custom made face as you can see in the foto.
2. Put an aux in cable with a 3.5mm jack http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Merce...656237460.html
3. Put an ipod kit with its modul.
