Mercedes C230 Problem Please Help
Hello to everyone i am newbie and this is my first post on this forum
My mercedes C230 2.6 V6 2006 has this kind of problem: while i am driving the check engine light starts turning on and off like side light then if i stop the car it starts vibrating, i am shutting down the car and when i start the problem is gone, after some period it does the same againg, Diagnostics showed that 2-nd cylinder has got problem, can it be Spark Plug, Spark Plug wire or anything more serious? someone told me that it could be problem of cumputer
please help me if you can and does anyone have picture of displacement of cylinders on W203?
thank you in advance

It could be any of those things, among many other possibilities. Is posting to this forum your first step in diagnosing your issue? Have you attempted diagnosing it at all? A quick swap of cylinder 2 coil and wires to another cylinder to see if the misfire follows would have been a good place to start.

i have changed wires from cylinder N2 to Cylinder N1 and reseted check engine from the OBDII now Check engine light got still on, i will check it now and if it's still on cylinder 2 it might be spark plug if it's on cylinder number one it's might be wire right? can fuel filter do such thing?

Diagnostics showed that my car has got problem on second cylinder i have changed second cylinder ignition coil with first cylinder ignition coil, after check engine light was i went to diagnostics again, now it showed that problem comes from Cylinder number 1, it means that ignition coil is dead and i have to change it, do i have to change spark plug by the way?

How are the plugs? Take it out and have a look. Plugs will last 30 to 50K miles with premium unleaded fuel. If the gap is the correct dimension, and tip a nice toasty brown, you're good to go.
Plugs are inexpensive. Any problems with ignition requires at least inspection of the plugs. They are a lot cheaper than replacing downstream components that are soaked in raw fuel.
