6 CD changer installation
How to get the factory 6 CD changer (for the glove box) installed.
Is it plug & play, meaning, are all the wires already there?
Any instructions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Robert
Otherwise, yes. Took me less than an hour.

One question....which cars need the additional FO cable?
Is the changer install the same with the BOSE system?
(I have an 02 c320 sportwagon and picked up a mc3010 off ebay)
I think the Bose should be just before the changer on the loop. Connect the out from the Bose to the in on the changer, and the out on the changer to the in on the headunit.
I took a look at the bose. There is an orange duplex optic cable plugged into the amp in the back labelled 'sound 2'.
There is a second, loose capped optic cable labelled 'sound 1'.
I guess according to Lynn, I would put the 'sound 1' cable into the bose amp, and cap the other one. There should be a 'sound 2' cable up at the head unit for the changer (conjecture on my part).
I had read number of times on how to install the CD changer. My question is... that after I have ordered the CD player and the fiber optic cable, I have noticed that the same part number fiber optic cable is ALREADY in the glove box sticking out of the hole along with the power cable. (I bought a used C320). But no CD changer. Does this mean that it had a CD changer??
Do I have pull out the head unit still to install the CD changer? Also the fiber cable is a loop with one input only with the metallic part where the loop is... What do I do??
