I don't think the silver tind go by the percentage, cause they
only carried one kind.

There are a few popular brands like, STI SunGard, Llumar, Madico, 3M, etc. Do you happen to know the actual brand they used? Just curious because I'm considering a film by Madico that has a very slight silver finish to it. I've only been able to see it on one car though, so I want to know if your's would be a proper representation of the "Madico" tint. Thanks...

They have life time warrenty on solar-guard for fading and bubbling, so I think it's quiet reliable.

I got the same setup with Pilot Sports and I tell you the car turns so much quicker and feels lighter than the C7s with Contis. Add the Porterfields with no dust and I love 'em.

Those wheel look great on the car. How's the ride in comparison to the 17" wheels? Do you feel expansion joints on the freeway more? Does it seem jittery on rough pavements? Is it any noisier? I'm trying to decide between 17" and 18" and I'm sure the 18" look and handle better but I don't want to regret my purchase next time I'm on the concrete freeway.

if you wanna upgrade, I think 18 is better cuz why just upgrade 1 inch? That's just me. How about the knockout lm5's that you showed us buell? Is that wheel any quality?

Buellwinkle, I have the tires all at 35 PSI right now and the ride is very smooth. Smoother than the Contis.
I notice that the steering is much more sensative and had to adjust my driving as I would some times turn sharper than anticipated.
I used to run the Conti's at 40 to 42 PSI so that probably acounts for my perception of the Pilot's on 18s being so much smoother.
I noticed that what is really limiting wheel/tire size is the bottom of those shocks, not the wheel well. Could use a slight drop and stiffer anti-roll bars too.
But no, the ride isn't harsh for me anyway.
Mercedes, the wheel wax smells like it is just a carnuba based wax. I haven't tried it yet as I am gonna detail the car today. Looks like the weather will be nice all week. Probably not better than Zaino, but I just added it to my cart when buying the wheels to check it out.
Here is Tire Rack's page on the wax:
