Ticking Noise From Engine Bay

Hello everyone! Woke up early and took my friends to the airport. On the way home, I stopped at a gas station across the street from my home, fueled up with $30 of 93 and went on my way. I drove maybe 2 mins and realized my RPMs were acting funny. At one point, it idled almost at 2K RPMs while in Drive. I parked in front of my house, turned off the car, turned it back on and it was still idling high (1.1K in Park) albeit not as bad. I decided that at 4AM I didn't care enough so I turned it off and went to bed.

Woke up today and the car is running pretty much OK. The RPMs are between 650-750 in P, and about 550 in D. However, I'm not sure if I have ignored this (pretty sure I have) or it got louder, or even if either occurrence is associated with one another but I began to hear a loud ticking coming from the engine bay. It seems to be coming from the front of the engine. I did some research and I THINK it is the purge valve. It goes away once I rev the motor, or drive. I have attached a video so you guys can hear what I'm talking about.

Any ideas? I'm thinking of cleaning my valve later on to see if it gets rid of the ticking and the idle issue.

Update!

Went out and did some cleaning in the engine bay, took the intake box apart and cleaned it out, unplugged and replugged the PV and turned on the car. The idle was normal and no more ticking sound. I checked the oil level and computer states OK. I will be driving it later and keeping an eye on it. I hope the issue doesn't come back.

That's not the purge valve. Keep an eye on it. If it does it again remove the Poly V belt and see if it goes away. Then you know if it's an accessory or pully/tensioner/idler.

Noise has not come back. I did a 30 mi drive to work today. I am almost positive it was something with the belts though. It didn't come from inside the engine, but rather outside. Will keep everyone posted in case anyone else ever has the same issue.

My friend had a similar sound before, with his C240, when he spray WD40, sound disappears & comes back after 2-3 days,,

then we discovered that the "Idler Pulley" was a little bit playing, replaced it, sound not show-up anymore....
