My Car Value

Hi,

How much do you think I can get for selling:

C320 (2002)
7,500 miles
Xenon Lights
C1
C2
C4
C6

The KBB estimate was around $30,000, which to me is far less than what I had expected.

Please HELP~

Thanks.

The problem is that to be competitive in the current market (which is soft due to the crappy state of the economy) Mercedes has been offering so many incentives on new C-classes that it has killed the resale values of the used ones.

Only 7500 miles on a two year old car. That's doing quite well. I'm up to 10k after 4 months.

I sold my '98 SLK in '03 with only 9,000 miles on her.

$24K

It took over 9 months to sell.
Def. not the best investment i've ever made, certainly not the worst either.

Honestly, if I had a '99 in stick with power seats (both were not available in '98) I would have driven the car more and kept it (most likely).

I replied to the original post with some info in your other thread. Go to that one, and I think you'll find the $30k estimate to be on the generous side.

According to Manheim Market Report they are getting an average of $25619 at auction with an average mileage of 20,000.
