Should the engine sound so...nice?
I think this one might go up on the MB list of dumb questions, but being that I'm new to all of this, please bear with me.
When I'm driving my 2001 C320 I feel like the engine sounds great, maybe too good. It has this very deep, power tone to it when I give it gas. I know this might sound retarded but I'm not sure if it's a normal sound or what. I'm used to V6's on Chryslers and Dodges so for it to sound a bit like the V8 in my old Charger throws me off. I have to say I love it, but I just want to make sure I'm not loving a sound that may be a sign of something bad going on.

MBWorld Fanatic!
A sample of the sound would go a long way, but I would say in general if it sounds good (smooth, not too loud, no rattles or bangs) and gives good power, it probably is good.
It sounds to me that you should stop worrying and enjoy it!

I've always thought the engine sounds good at higher RPM's, especially for a V6. I was rather surprised (sound wise, it's still slow)the first time I floored it :P
