which one?
What kind of lights, how much $$, and how easy/hard to install?
I'm leasing, too, but that would really tempt me.
Crutchfield sells some bulbs: 'Fahrenheit Super White Xenon',
"...look similar to HID lights....DOT approved."
I haven't called for availability for the C230 K yet, but was curious as to whether anyone's heard of these. Or are "imitation HID" something to stay away from? They're priced at $29.95/pair. Cheap as in "cheap"?

columbus, you need the h7 set which isn't in stock right now. but who knows about how they look? i think you should try them out and let us know ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
i'd prefer not to touch a leased car. but if you do get hids, i think it would be simple to take it off, order new housing caps, replace the oem bulbs and you're done! (i think...)

Colombus,
If I will do it, I will go with Mercedes OEM Xenon lights. And I believe it's the whole headlight assembly.
About that immitation HID, some of them looks crappy. I tried Nokya, Hiper, and Eurolite.
Nokya looks like crap. It's only blue, and the light pattern are way...way worse than stock.
Hiper, I don't know for sure, because I use the high wattage once and they burned my harness. So far the lights are similar to stock
So I would stay away from high wattage.
Eurolite, I like this. Because this bulbs improve the light pattern a little bit. I use the Fusion Xenon on my Jetta and my dad's Accord.
For my C240 I want to try Phillips Visionplus. I heard a lot of good things about these bulbs. I heard they improve the light pattern significantly.
Search "Various Bulb Comparison" thread by Young. He reviewed a couple of bulbs. It might get you some idea of what you should buy.

I have eurolite xenon fusion bulbs in my low/high/fog lights. From what I have seen and heard the Eurolites and Razo's are the best looking and very close to being as bright as oem halogens. Phillips visionplus bulbs, are tested and do produce more output and a better beam pattern that the others. If You want the HID look without the $. Get either eurolite or Razo low beams, and Phillips vision plus high and fog lights and switch out your city lights with some blue xenon like bulbs. I hope this helps.
