Non-OEM front bumper replacement??

So my dad tried to park my car whilst driving with a dripping ice cream cone in one hand, and with the other hand smacked her into the side of the garage. He wanted me to know that he didn't drop any ice cream. It's gonna be an expensive cone for him, but I wanna make sure I'm doing this right.

The bumper impact trim (molding w/ chrome) OEM alone for one side is $280. If the Indy replaces the molding and FIXES my front bumper, with labor and paint matching, it's $900. If he instead REPLACES my front bumper (NON-OEM) and both moldings (NON-OEM) it'll be roughly the same price. My front bumper's scratched to hell underneath and I've touched it up in a few places, so I'm leaning toward getting the whole front bumper replaced. Thoughts?? ps. he's also going to fix the fog light which is pushed in.

From looking at that top shot of the bumper I would replace the bumper also. Just my .02 on it.

Yeah, but you'd be replacing an OEM bumper with a non-oem one made of hard plastic that will probably shatter on an impact like this (I may be wrong but that's the impression I have about replica bumpers anyway )

Just for the record I was referring to replacing with a used or new OEM part.
