cold start whine

cold start whine
I have a 2006 c230 sport. Every morning when I cold start the car I hear a faint whine till the rpm's drop below 1000. Its not that loud, and only on cold start. Just wondering if this is normal. The car has almost 100,000 miles on it, but has just been to the dealership recently to get work done on it and they didnt seem to notice anything, and Im wondering if Im just now noticing this noise because im being **** now.

sounds like its the air pump. It kick on when the motor is cold for about 20 seconds
