I know this seems strange, but after turning on the car my windows won't respond to roll down for about 5 seconds which, when it's 100 degrees, is 4 seconds too long. Is this normal? No other electrical issues, and when I turn the key to just before starting it the windows will roll down right away.

Quite the helpful answer.

Anyway, I don't exactly get the question. Do you mean that when you get in your buttons don't respond for the windows or the auto windows don't work?

The button windows won't respond for 5-6 seconds after starting. It's weird. But if the car's off and the key's in, the windows will roll down no problem.

Mine respond instantly after starting.

Could it be battery related? Like the blower fan and radio cuts out for a sec when you are cranking if the voltage is lower than [12.3v I guess]...

One other weird thing, I think. When I take the keys OUT of the ignition, and the doors are still closed, I can turn on the radio. Is that normal? It's cool, but not sure if some weird electrical permutation.

Mine for instance stopped working about a year ago. Too lazy to fix, as it it relatively a PITA. I don't mind opening the windows from inside the car.
