Question Upgrading to Coilovers, help me find this part ?

Hey guys, I got my hands on a nice set of coilovers and decided while i'm at it to install new strut bearings/mounts.

I got all parts, but can't seem to find this (washer?) it's part #18 in the diagram

Any tips where i can get those ? I really don't want to salvage from the old strut cause I don't have a spring compressor right now.
Unless it comes off without compressing the spring ?

Any help would be appreciated !

I think you mean washer #: "000 990 03 65", if so, you need 4 of them..

I didn't open up the strut before so i don't know if that's how it looks, it seems to be a normal washer from the illustration, also don't i just need 2 ? one for each side ? where will 4 fit ? thx !

They would only list US models, which is why they wouldn't show your car.

Wouldn't shipping to Norway cost more than just buying the washers at the dealer? They can't cost that much.

Ah ofcourse !!, silly me !

yeah it would make sense but I can't find them anywhere here, and the dealer will cost more than getting them shipped from the US it's damn expensive here you can't imagine !

Do you have a coupe? Their diagram is here:

My Mercedes Parts Schematic

And on that diagram, #17 looks like your part, though it's a mounting nut instead of a washer (probably just a bad description on MB's part, it looks like). If that's it, it can't be that much here; according to MMP, it's $2 a side. Let me know - if you think it could work, I could just pick up a couple and mail them to you instead of you having to go through all that bs for a couple of euros. I need to go by the dealership for a couple of little things anyway tomorrow or Saturday.

OMG if you could do that to me you will actually make my day !, I already checked and it's the same, my car is not a coupe though !
Would it be too hard to put in there the hardware kit ? (Part#12 in diagram) ? I found them on Ebay but it's price+shipping is over 300% the actual cost !

let me know the possibility !

Well, I used that diagram because the coupe's looked most like your 200K's.

Looks like those kits (L+R) would be about $52 from a dealer, making the total $56 or so. I'll price it out tomorrow and if it's that little, I'll just buy it for you and contact you about shipping. It would save about $15 to order it from MMP, but it would delay things by about a week or so.

That would be perfect ! yeah it's pretty much identical suspension !
I really don't know how to thank you ! you're the best !

If you can pm me your Paypal or your preferred method I can pay you right away !

Yeah a 15$ saving for a week is not ideal since I'm so eager to get them installed i actually booked a time at a DIY garage in about 10 days

do you have any clue how much shipping would cost on that ?

No idea on the shipping; at least the package would be very small.
