I like the rear of the Boxster, it does a nice job of modernizing the design cues of the car James Dean bought the farm in. The front is the "corperate" 911 front and doesn't do it for me.

The new Z is ugly, save the nose which is better than the Infinity.

My father has one...its been into the shop only once. The only area of the car that I think is crap is the cheapo interior. I think its an incredible car.

My GF has had 3 Vettes, the latest a 50th Anniversary, and all of them have been to the shop more then all my cars combined including my crappy Jaguar.
Has got to be some reason your GF keeps buying em. My neighbor's kid is the service manager at the local Jag dealer...in his own words "NOTHING is more troublesome than a Jag"...

. Other then that its an uncomfortable, rattling, noisy, unpredicatble, pile of crap and you feel every hiccup in the road.
Perhaps in an older car I would agree. But later C4's and any C5 that Ive ever been in feel pretty good. No worse in terms of rattles and ride than the last M3 I was in.

Bleck! Four doors suck! Isn't that the Cayenne?

I could live with a RAD door version, ala the Ion Quad Coupe, or the RX-8....but not a sedan Porsche is doomed

no, it's not the cayenne. it's on the cover of some british car magazine, i didn't bother reading any further because when i saw 4 doors i was like "forget it." i can't remember the name of the mag though. i want to say Autocar, but i dont think so.

You pay for what you get.
The STi will have C32 off the line but at the higher speed, you will see STi in C32's view mirror.:o

Nice Z!

Tim,

OMG, you gave up your coupe! Welcome to the club. Hope you have no rattles.

I actually miss my coupe sometimes -- especically the power. But you wont have that problem with the Z!

Enjoy!
