I'm no longer a C-class owner

I've enjoyed my coupe, but not enough to keep it any longer. Last week I traded it in for a new 2004 350Z Touring edition. Here's some pics of my new baby!

Auto? Please tell me you P-Shopped that!

Either way, enjoy your ride...it was hard to decide between the cars myself.

BEWARE though...some car washes have been known to open a Z's door while its going through...they say to lock it and bring a spare key.

Good luck with her.

Believe me, I wanted to buy one with a manual tranny. However, after discovering that Nissan wanted $1700 more for a manual, I said no. The auto is no slushbox, either. The shifts are clean and quicker than any human could ever shift, and downshifting isn't slurred at all. If the auto sucked, I wouldn't have any problem paying more for a stick. That just wasn't the case, though.

I've already taken it through a carwash and had no problems with the doors. That may have been fixed in the 2004.

I don't think he's gonna care how the doors sound when he's grinning ear to ear looking at most CLKs in his rear-view...

Speed is not everything. It might be for some people. Not for me. Had it been, I'd be getting an Impreza WRX STi for the same price as my C. With that, I'd be seeing C32s in my rear view mirror.

I really like the Z, I have thought about getting one, the only thing I don't like about it is it has the worst stereo I have ever heard.

I know speed isn't everything, but it sounds like he's enjoying the performance aspect of his car quite a bit. And with the amount of problems session has had with his C, I'm sure he'll be happier with the build quality in the 350Z.

10X more fun to drive too....we just installed 14" brembo front and 12"(i think) brembo rear on my friends 350, along with 19" forged rims. car looks great and its a blast to drive. personally not exactly my taste at all, i didnt like it until my friend got his and i got to play with it, ive been turned. i still dont think id buy one, but thats just me because i really like them. session, i bet youre having a blast with it, and i bet it gets more looks than your C ever did . congrats.

Are they ever gonna have a 350z turbo like they did with the 300zx turbo? I'd get it in a second if they have one soon.

Ugh! If that wasn't for brake clearance, what was your friend thinking?

Daddymac, a new clk vs. a 350? Not even close. With the new lines, the new clk has totally lost any class that it ever had.

I think I saw a Blitz turbo kit, and I'm sure that greddy and others have theirs as well. You going to leave it stock, wait for the warranty to do any mods, or start modding now? I'm sure that i/h/e combos out there must be making some nice hp adds, to add even more s.

Stillen makes a kit...but I think it's a S/C.

I know there are at least 2 Turbo kits...and they will both be well under $10K...

The more I talk about the 350 the more I think I should have gotten one...

Personally if I was to do it I would have went for the Infinity. Still pretty much the Z but with four seats and a little more luxury. Plus I like the look of it over the Z, I just saw one yesterday.....

ditto here. i hate the new Z. no offense session. it's ugly and cheap looking, especially the interior. the only saving point is the engine and you can get that and all the luxury and beauty in the G35. session, you've upgraded in power but downgraded in looks for sure.

The G35 killed me when I found out it had no memory seats!

So you let people in the back and you need to re-adjust your seat each time! No Way! No memory seats in a luxury car...common!

IMHO, there's nothing classy about the rear lights on the Infinity. Same as with the G35 sedan; gaudy doesn't mean classy to me. Which certainly explains why they're everywhere here in Joisey.

I like the z's more straightforward design much better.

Yup...I see at least 10-15 different ones a day...soo saturated with G35 Coupes...mostly 20-30 year old guys who think they are cool...or under 25 women...

To each his own... I like the Z much better than I ever liked my coupe. To be honest the Z's design took a while to grow on me, but now I'm in love. The interior is fine, especially considering all the problems I had with my coupe's interior (8 shop visits in 18 months).

I think the G35 looks goofy, personally. It looks way too much like the sedan.
