I thought the intake on the C-Class is very efficient with ram-air effect since the air is fed directly behind the grill. 2 of my friends have the Gruppe M on their E46 and the setup doesn't even look as effective as the stock one on the C. Unless they are refabricating the intake pipes with a larger diameter version and increasing the surface area of the air filter. But at this point, aren't we limited by the size of the MAF and the associated pipe size from the air filter back?
